In summary, we are not satisfied with the progress being made. We are
particularly
concerned that the resultant safety, performance, and asset stewardship
impacts are
not being accurately assessed or mitigated. As a result, we confirm that we
now
require specific actions under health and safety law and are commissioning
an
Independent Reporter to investigate the systemic issues underlying the
historical and
current non-compliance to standards.

NR being threatened with H&S enforcement action for not knowing about the

It's not the first time that NR has been in the news about the state
of its asset register. I recall that it was in the news c25 years ago
but don't remember why.
