I don't think you see many sheep at 3000 ft ask.

It doesn't start at 3000 ft. Shaun and his mates could be nibbling about
down the bottom.

Do you get Mountain Goats in Scotland ?Goats will have a go at anything, I
watched two eat most of a Caravan while doing a summer school holiday job.
Admittedly it was a fairly old one more plywood than Aluminium.

Yes but you tend to see them at the roadside (could be some higher up
but not been up high for long time!).

You will see wild goats driving up to Kyle of Lochalsh and on the A86
Spean Bridge to Newtonmore. Probably other places but those are the
ones most often seen.

Don't know. I was being facetious, but it does seem this system wasn't
built very well so who knows what other fragile parts are still there. Eg
dodgy cabling, poor foundations etc.

All the sheep past the snow gates have antlers.

Is that a condition for passing the snow gates?

If anyone is guarding them the antlers might enable access.

I was thinking something similar, but it’s many years since I was there and
I didn’t know if it was still true.

Possibly before the gates there isn't much sheep-suitable grazing
unless they have some with a taste for heather and whin.
